“Ben Whishaw’s  Peter is heartbreaking without being maudlin, the character’s anxiety tempered with intelligence and humour. (Mr. Whishaw can really land a line.) His first scene with J.M. Barrie is a powerful combination of confusion, raw energy, temptation, being pulled to the past and the future. all in a single look.”  - John Logan

PETER AND ALICE

I’m in London now. Saw “Peter and Alice” tonight… Have no words to describe my feelings… I was crying… first time ever while watching a play… Great performance! Judi is so young, and Ben is so fragile…
And obviously I couldn’t hold myself and went to the backstage door… I met Ben (Judi wasn’t there) and told him my thankyous for such a wonderful evening, and he was absolutely adorable… love him even more now (and it’s doing nothing with my 00Q obsession) :)

I’m gonna put the rest of this under a read more because there are spoilers (that I didn’t want to be aware of but now am kind of glad I am, this particular one anyway), but if you’re semi aware of the tension in the fandom these past couple days, give it a read. This is pretty much how I feel about the subject as well.
